The Principal's Message
Dear Families of Cedarmere Elementary,
I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such rich spirit of excellence and high expectations that exudes from the entire community. One of my primary goals is to continue to maintain that spirit of excellence among our students, faculty and staff. In addition, I will focus on ensuring that every child has equitable access to achieving in a learner-centered environment to prepare them to be college and career ready in the 21st century. I want the students at Cedarmere to love learning and enjoy their elementary school experience as much as I did when I was a child. I commit through partnerships with our faculty and staff to challenge our students each day and ensure they are provided with academic, social and emotional resources they need to excel and achieve academic success. Great mind, great thinkers and high achievers" will be our motto this year! I am a strong believer that the home-school connection is the backbone of student success. Through a close and shared partnership with community members, I am confident that our school will continue to be a successful place for our students to learn and grow.
Yours in service,
Regina Matthews, Principal
