About US

The Principal's Message

Dear Families of Cedarmere Elementary,

Welcome to the Cedarmere Elementary School website. I am honored to be principal at Cedarmere working with amazing students, families, and a wonderful group of dedicated professionals. Our priority is to provide a high quality education for every student, every day.

Cedarmere Elementary School serves approximately 520 children in our Pre-kindergarten through Fifth grade program. Our staff works closely in collaborative teams as well as with the administrative team to provide a focused program of instruction. Cedarmere staff work diligently to provide instruction for students at their success level, differentiating instruction so that all students are challenged and feel success. At Cedarmere Elementary School, we provide a safe, caring, orderly, and respectful environment that promotes high levels of student engagement and performance. We honor the unique strengths, talents, and diversity of each of our students and dedicate our efforts to help them experience individual success.

We value the partnership with our parents and our community. Parents know their children best and this parent and school partnership is valuable in helping us to support the unique needs of students. We are fortunate to have an active and supportive PTA. The Cedarmere PTA allows parents multiple opportunities to become involved in different activities that support our students and school.

From the first day of school through the last day of school, you and your child will know, “All adults and children alike will be valued, inspired, and held to high expectations.”

Warm regards,

Laurie Brown

Proud Principal of Cedarmere Elementary School
